Since I haven't had to, I am not very willing to spend much time away from Colby yet. So for the last 5 months, Mondays have been our special day. I definitely try to do most of my errands on Mondays, still, and he's a great little companion. I also *plan* to get housework caught up on Mondays, but this normally doesn't happen. But it is a good day for planning tutoring, working on real estate projects, and most importantly lots of one-on-one time with this guy...........

Starting in two weeks, Anderson's preschool schedule will be M,W,F, so we knew we needed to adjust our weekly schedule. What we've come up with is the big boys going to my parents' house on Thursdays, and then I'll bring Colby out a couple of hours later around lunchtime. After lunch, I'll head out to start tutoring and all 3 boys will (hopefully) nap. I'll be tutoring until 7:20, so the boys will have dinner with my parents, too. It's good- and tutoring is a very helpful supplemental income- but I sure will miss these sweet, simple Mondays!
Today, for example, my mom came to pick up the big boys right around 10:00. They were both excited to go; Anderson has been looking forward to baking cupcakes ever since last Monday. I wanted to run to Kohl's and we needed groceries, so Colby and I headed out right after they left.
He didn't nap much during our errands, even though he usually likes a morning nap of some kind. But he had lots to look around and see, and he was admired by many fellow shoppers. We drove thru Wendy's, dropped off lunch for Ryan at work and headed home. He ate and took a little afternoon nap. I'm guessing he'll need to nap again because about an hour into napping he decided to wake up and keep me company while I type.

| He is growing so fast, but thank goodness these precious little feet are still tiny. |
It will be a wonderful day, and I know how much I will miss having these whole days just the two of us.
